The Scriptures that keep me grounded is, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” And “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” Matthew 5:6, 8
I do love God will all my heart mind, and soul to the best of my abilities. I am not where I want to be, but I am not where I was. I have learned I will never be perfect on my own, my perfection is in Jesus Christ, I will never be righteous on my own, it is His righteousness that is accredited to me. There is nothing good in me, all goodness is found in the father.

I also love His word it instructs me in the way I should conduct myself as I journey along this way. Psalm chapter one cautions me about my associations. Ecclesiastes chapter one reminds not to forget the one who made me, and this life is only temporary, and my duty is to fear God and keep his commandments (by living in obedience to the Holy Spirit that God have given to all believers).

My prayer for a godly wife was answered when I married Glenda, all together we have five children, eight grand children and two are now with the Lord. As of July 2022, we will have been married for 39 years. Glenda has been an immense help to me in ministry all these years.
