Christmas is a season for family, joy and traditions - but most of all, it's about Jesus, the Light who shines into darkness and brings hope into the world. This December, we invite you and your loved ones to celebrate with us at Calvary Chapel Oceanside for a Christmas series that will encourage every heart, young and old.

Families are welcome at all three services! For children under 3 years old, our Children’s Ministry will be available at the 3pm and 4:30pm services only.

Each year CCO participates in this amazing global mission that carries the good news of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. Simply fill a shoebox with toys & bring it back no later than Friday November 20th. Operation Christmas Child will then make sure it gets to a child who will not only receive the gifts, but will also receive the gospel of Jesus Christ in their own language and the opportunity to participate in a 12 week discipleship program.
Pick up a shoebox today! All boxes can be dropped off at the church no later than November 20, 2026.

✨Adopt-a-Night at the Christmas Light Show Spectacular! ✨
This December, hundreds of people will walk through our Christmas Light Show— and we want every guest to feel warmly welcomed. That’s where you come in!
We’re inviting families, Groups, or teams of 6–8 people to “adopt a night” at our Welcome Booth between December 1–23 (6:00–8:30 pm, no Saturday nights).
As a host team, you’ll:
Greet guests with a smile and holiday cheer
Answer simple questions about the event
Share invitations to our Christmas services
It’s a fun, family-friendly way to serve together and help shine the light of Jesus during this Christmas season.

angel tree local mission
The Angel Tree Local Mission is a simple and tangible way to share the love of Jesus during this season of giving. Each year CCO co-labors with Prison Fellowship to bless children of inmates and we also help kids within our own church body & surrounding community.
You can be a part of this mission by selecting an Angel Tag beginning the weekend of November 21st & 22nd after service. You simply purchase the item listed, wrap the gift, attach the Angel Tag and return it to the Angel tree table by Sunday, December 6th. Gifts are distributed the following week, and families without a church home are invited to join us @ CCO.
Our greatest desire is that everyone will be embraced by this beautiful community of loving disciples and have a place to foster a growing relationship with Jesus and one another. For more info, please call the church office.

This December, CCO Youth Theatre presents How the Grinch Found Christmas—and it isn’t the tale you grew up with. In this clever and whimsical retelling, we discover that a secret cover-up in Whoville has hidden the true meaning of Christmas for generations. When a mysterious traveler returns with a truth that threatens the Mayor’s secrets, the whole city is rocked to its core. Part sharp satire and part Seussian fun, this story reveals the ultimate Biblical truth: we can’t change our own hearts, but when we change our minds, God does the impossible.

light up the night
CCO's Annual Light Up the Night is back on Saturday, December 5th and 19th. Join us for two unforgettable evenings filled with laser tag, gingerbread making, train rides, nativity trail, and much more from 3:00pm-5:45pm. Then at 6:00pm, head to our Saturday night service while kids enjoy exciting activities in Children's Ministry.
After service, we will have the light show and s'mores. You don't want to miss this free event! Invite your family and neighbors.
